From left to right… Charlies younger son, Graeme Booth, his wife Carol, eldest son Rob Booth, Audrey Booth, grandsons George and Charlie Booth and Rob’s partner Jo. Dad led many working parties to Dyffryn and throughout our childhood and through the 5th it became like a second home to us. Dad did lot’s of work that continues to benefit people to this day and into the future. Remembering him at Dyffryn seemed natural and a fitting place to scatter his ashes and erect a memorial. The corner of the yard and the Chapel wall near to Sir Alfred Owen’s tribute was chosen as they knew each other in life and had the same values and vision for the BB. Tonight was the Mid Staffs and Sandwell Battalion Drill competition, Colour Party competition and the Drill-down competition. Judges were from the 5th West Bromwich as we weren’t in a position to enter this year.
1st Walsall Wood, 1st Tamworth and 14th West Bromwich Companies all entered. Each of the competitions were very close so credit to each company.
Congratulations to the 1st Walsall Wood who won the Drill competition, 14th West Bromwich who won the Colour Party competition and it was a lad from the 1st Walsall Wood who won the Drill-down. … See MoreSee Less
